This work was completed as a part of a feasibility study completed for the University in association with the Strategic Advisory Group. The project was divided into 3 major components or phases: the 215,000 square-foot event center; the 90,300 square-foot student recreation center; and the 16,000 square-foot natatorium. The multi-purpose 10,000 seat event center was planned for university assemblies and intramural sports, as well as concerts and small sporting events for the community at large.
