This project was initiated to expand the existing Regency Conference Center and to provide an economic impetus to downtown Green Bay. The new facility, including 54,500 square-feet of new construction and 21,400 square-feet of renovation, was programmed to provide the additional needed square footage to capture 80% of the conventions which had either held their meetings in Green Bay or were planning to do so.

It was connected to the existing Regency Suites Hotel and was located within a block of a second hotel on the Fox River waterfront. Its 38,000 square-foot block of meeting space can be subdivided into two 10,000 square-foot ballrooms and an 18,000 square-foot exhibition hall. It also has 19,430 square-feet of remodeled breakout meeting space from the existing conference center. The round tower entrance was designed to provide a recognizable symbol for the entrance and a recall to the other distinctive towers in downtown Green Bay.

This project was completed by Kenneth M. Betsch, AIA while a Managing Principal for Odell Associates, Inc.
