The project was planned as a first phase in a mixed use development to leverage higher quality development across North Pleasantburg Drive from Bob Jones University and to protect the value of the property on the campus side of this corridor. The project consisted of approximately 148 condominiums, 9,800 square feet of retail space and several commercial out-parcels. The first phase of the project consisted of the construction of two residential buildings each with 23 condominiums on four levels over a one story parking garage. The one-story parking garage was designed using post-tensioned cast-in-place concrete. The residential units were designed with wood framing and prefabricated wood joists. The exterior skin consisted of a brick veneer with precast concrete lintels and accents.
